290Just a few days ago, we received this transmission from the valiant JBOT, who continues to persevere under the yoke of GTRBOT666, DRMBOT0110, and the rest of his animatronic overlords:
"My Fellow Americans.....
My name is George "Dubya" Bush , and I approve this message.
That's right folks,
C!BR will be coming to your town doing a tour dedicated to our greatest
president,
George Walker Bush.
Whether you lean to the right or the left,
whether you're a terrorist or a pacifist, this tour is not to be missed.
Whether you're Democrat or Republican, everyone is invited in.
From 9/11, to the Iraq war, this administration has had as many
twists and turns as Saddam's noose.
The robots will be playing GOP Administration members, and various
important figures from the last 7 years. Dressing as Secret Service
Agents for audience members is encouraged.
Featuring such songs as the "Dubya Dub", "I Got His Gun, Daddy", and
"Re-election"
this tour will put to music these last 7 great years of American
History.
We hope to see you at the show, as we'll be listening to all your phone
calls
to confirm you'll be showing up.
Remember, Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists....."
IfIHadAHiFi will be bringing the warm-up noise before this C!BR set on Monday, October 22 at Milwaukee's increasingly cosmopolitan Cactus Club in scenic Bayview. Be sure to show up on time, because we're opening, to be followed by thedEMiX. We recently spent five days holed up in a recording studio, so we'll be anxious to blow off steam.
USA! USA! USA!
