Is Israel in the midst of perpetrating terror attacks?

But I guess, as humans, we would rather spend 11 grand on a precision bomb then a person, mainly due to our destructive pyromaniac personalities, rather then using our ability as man to think outside the box.

Politicians are agents of corporations, I'm afraid. Swords will not be converted into plowshares; governments can't make 'logical choices', they need to market their illogical choices to the captive populations by feeding them fear and hate.

While it is still fair to blame men for the corporate beasts that they created, these oligopolies of death crack like walnuts any 'insiders' who try to tame them. They won't be killed by policy change from within, they will be changed only when people see through the management strategy, and don't let the controllers weaken you with their fear-selling.

Wars are the wet dreams of capitalism; what could be a better product for capitalism to sell than a bomb? Bombs blow shit up, creating markets for the replacement shit, and bombs make those killed by the bombs buy their own bombs. It's a bright profit forecast. We here on ground level have to retreat from the battlefield, but we never will- designed panic and stoked revenge fantasies will keep us clenched in their fists, ready to kill each other.

The US chose to fight this war, and we all know the agenda (oil anyone?). While Israel has been dragged into this situation, AFTER it left Lebanon several years ago, according to UN request.

Read the "Clean Break" documents.

This was prepared by the same neo-con/Likud alliance that gave us the Project For The New American Century. This current Israeli campaign has been in the planning stages since 2000, just as the planning for the Iraq War and the Patriot Act and the NSA wiretapping existed prior to 9/11.

The IDF soldiers were captured in Lebanon, according to some reports. That capture was not the impetus for these events.

Each and every missile or rocket was targeting innocent civilians in Israel's cities. Not army bases, not government offices...innocent civilians. The fact that Hezbollah mostly misses it's targets, doesn't turn this into a humane action. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that even bombed the US embassy in Beirut, killing 63 innocent Americans, in 1983.

You make errors in casualty count and in attribution for the Beirut embassy bombing.

For you to say that each and every Katusha was targetting civilian targets is as laughable an exaggeration as the claims by the IDF that every bomb dropped on Lebanon was sent towards a Hezbollah target. Lastly, what did you think Hezbollah would do since 'the first day of the war' ( started by Israel )? Not fire back? I thought they were a godless terrorist organization- you can't switch back and forth between exaggerating their power when it suits your war aims and then acting dismayed when they act the way you see them to be.

3) I guess it all comes down to priorities. Israeli people go to work, build a successful economy, start hi-tech companies, invest in education, and talk about living in peace with their neighbors (something that was already achieved with Egypt and Jordan). The Palestinians, Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians and Hezbollah, all invest in collecting rockets, missiles, explosives and education of hatred towards Israel.

Of course the Israelis don't take every weapons system the US can invent for any reason other than to repel an attack, from all those monochromatic unemployed uneducated hate-filled clones that surround them. Nice way to generalize between Shi'a and Sunni and Persians and Christians and men and women and old people and children.

The Zionists knew what they were in for when they accepted the location of Israel; they took the site offered by the globalists and in return, they count on an unlimited security apparatus paid for by the globalists, and they in return carry out their role in the remaking of the Middle East desired by the globalists.

You see 4 year olds wearing M-16s, grenades and explosives on them. That is truly a great way to educate your future generations.

Good for the Zionists. Makes it easier to justify streetsweeper tactics.

truesoul wrote:4) Have you asked yourself why the Hezbollah has launched the attack on Israeli soldiers? what was the reason? the purpose???

Have you asked yourself how the Shin Bet torture prisons continue to have full occupancy? Cross-border raids into Gaza and Lebanon have anything to do with that? After 2000, did those stop?

chris mcgreal, UK Guardian, november 2003 wrote:The men under the black hoods all have the same question once the blindfolds and manacles are off: Where am I? A voice filtering through a narrow slit in the steel door told Sameer Jadala he was "in Honolulu", Raab Bader that he was "in a submarine" and "outside the borders of Israel", Bashar Jadala that he was "on the moon". None of them imagined it at the time, because only a handful of the political and security establishment knew such a thing existed, but they were prisoners in Israel's Guantanamo: Facility 1391.

"I was barefoot in my pyjamas when they arrested me and it was really cold," says Sameer Jadala, a Palestinian school bus driver. "When I got to that place, they told me to strip and gave me a blue uniform. Then they gave me a black sack. They told me: 'This is your sack. You need to keep it with you. Any time someone comes to your cell, you must put it on your head. Any time they deliver the food, you must put it on your head. You must never see the soldiers' faces. You do not want to know what will happen if you take it off.' Sometimes I thought I would die in that place and no one would ever know."

Facility 1391 has been airbrushed from Israeli aerial photographs and purged from modern maps. Where once a police station was marked there is now a blank space. Sometimes even the road leading to it has been erased. But Israel's secret prison, inside an army intelligence base close to the main road between Hadera and Afula in northern Israel, is real enough. For 20 years or more it has been housed in a large, imposing, single-storey building designed by a British engineer, Sir Charles Taggart, during the 1930s as one of a series of garrison forts designed to contain growing unrest in Palestine. Today, the thick concrete walls and iron gates are themselves protected by a double fence overseen by watchtowers and patrolled by attack dogs.

The prison has held Lebanese abducted by the Israeli army as hostages, Iraqi defectors and a Syrian intelligence officer who tried to defect but was accused of spying and chose to remain in another prison rather than return home and face a firing squad. More recently, scores of Palestinians were incarcerated in 1391 for interrogation, which finally led to the almost accidental disclosure of a prison the state decreed did not exist.

Those who have been through its gates know it is no illusion. One former inmate has filed a lawsuit alleging that he was raped twice - once by a man and once with a stick - during questioning. But most of those who emerge say the real torture is the psychological impact of solitary confinement in filthy, blackened cells so poorly lit that inmates can barely see their own hands, and with no idea where they are or, in many cases, why they are there.

"Our main conclusion is that it exists to make torture possible - a particular kind of torture that creates progressive states of dread, dependency, debility," says Manal Hazzan, a human rights lawyer who helped expose the prison's existence. "The law gives the army enough authority already to hide prisoners, so why do they need a secret facility?"

You want to stack human rights violations, truesoul, we can go all week.

Oh wait…these are the same countries and organizations who already blew up the world trade center and the pentagon…I wonder what they are thinking about right now.

Holy shit. Are you a teenager? Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, Syria, Iran and Iraq are 'the same countries and organizations who already blew up the world trade center and the pentagon'??? Not even George Bush and Dick Cheney drop propaganda on the US population that ripe. Leaving out the fact that you failed to mention Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Jordan as the countries of origin of most of the alleged 9/11 hijackers ( and none of the alleged hijackers were claimed to be Syrian, Iranian, Iraqi, Lebanese or Palestinian), your complete Orwellian fear virus infection shows what a virulent anti-Muslim and anti-Arab racist you are. You see brown and a beard and you're done- presumed guilty.

I just looked at your post count, truesoul: 2. You argue like matthew wauck, and now that I'm forced to think about, I don't recall seeing matthew on the board in a while. Are you anywhere near Doylestown, PA, truesoul?

Kidnapped, bombed and hated every day? Hated, maybe. You are on a bloodlust horizon march, son. You will be forced to slaughter the teeming hordes until Israel quintuples in size, if your mentality represents the Israeli leadership. Your sorry excuses for overkill are yours to live with. Glad I don't have to live with them.
