I saw an episode of this at random last night.

Laughed a lot. Is on recording list for DVR now.

My favorite show.

I saw the Neil Hamburger one first and it blew my mind.

The gross "boss yelling at obese woman" skit is so painful that it's sublime--pure, pure evil.

Tom Goes to the Mayor has it's moments as well, but nothing at all compared to the ridiculousness of Tim and Eric.

This old BBC show called A League of Gentlemen is actually the closest analogue. Not in form (or really function, actually) but in tone and level of pathos.

New season, right?

Crap! Never seen a full episode, but I haven't laughed once. I like to think that I 'get' it but just don't agree with it. I probably just missed the point.

I adore The League of Gentlemen.

Which explains why I liked this Tim and Eric I saw last night so much, maybe.

This show is super f'd up, though. Whoever edits it is on angel dust or something.

It's often funny, but the material is so scattershot that it occasionally slides deep into into CRAP. Still way better than about 90% of all the stuff on AS at this point.

It's good to see those guys do something worthwhile after that abysmal Tom Goes to the Mayor show.

I probably love this show too much. Its so fucked and great.



TGTTM was quite limiting but had its moments... at least they had good t-shirts (Rats Off To Ya, Billy Williams)

I'm assuming the chicago heads know former Heaven Gallery co-owner Doug Lussenhop writes/edits this show, as does Eric Fensler (creator of the altered GI JOE PSA's)

I think about this at least three times a week
