ive posted this topic aswell on the rat sound forum. great live engineers for the chilli peppers, blink 182 etc.
dave rat, the guy who runs it all said that he flips the phase on his bass drum mics all the time.

impressive every time. bass drum hurting your ears and chest! absolute vocal clarity!
i respect him and i know he has a lot of live knowledge! being a live and studio engineer i am torn between the 2.

Rat is a righteous dude. I heard one of his first systems years ago when he came to my hometown doing the PA for Black Flag ('85 version).
