I'll take the "Sorta..." bridge parts and the backwards guitar solo in "Wrapped In Plastic" over a lotta the questionable grunge you'll go to bat for.

I somehow wound up seeing a RZ concert clip in his "prime" recently, and remarked that he really struggles to breathe. Like the whole performance is him gasping for air. I chalked it up to a bad night, but then I watched another to be sure, and it's the same.

At my high school there were some cute girls into NIN, and by Trent's endorsement spilling over to MM. That's the best I got.

These guys and bands both suck and heralded in the Ozzfest era of shit mainstream metal which persists to this day.

Rob Zombie seems like a cheerful enthusiast who knows he’s making derivative stuff, and much like Gwar, there were a few cool noisy riffs in the early period. Marilyn Manson just sucks.

Alice Cooper kind of sucks too, for what it’s worth. Michael Bruce was the real creative force in the Alice Cooper Group, and he’s never done anything but shit without them. Lot of good stuff early on though.
