I realized that I have never once sung karaoke in my life before.
I almost did once, but there was nothing on the songs list that appealed to me at all.
Hmm...I wonder if it's fun at all.
For that matter, I wonder what songs I could sing.

My kindergarten reunion would be fun, because I don't remember anyone of them.

Me? Oh yeah, I quit my attempt at a career in order to be poor and single and write a novel. What's it about..? oh you know... the hope and imagination you have in childhood and how life robs it all... uh, it's just about stuff. My band? We play kind of cross between jazz, stoner and math rock. math rock? You know like... slint? mogwai? uh...radiohead?"

I was all ready to make spinach and chickpea pasta w/ garlic sauce, but my bag of spinach was rotten. It really pissed me off. I then realized something about myself: I get inordinately pissy when I'm all ready to cook something, only to find that one vital ingredient is missing. If I was a more creative cook, I'd find something to replace the missing ingredient. This lack of creativity only infuriates me more.
I am going to make pasta with meat sauce now...

Why not go in a ski mask and carrying a shotgun?
Hold everyone up and steal their money.
Just don't forget to sign the guest book with the name of one of the unpopular kids who isn't there.

One time I boiled up some mac & cheese out of a box and when it was time to mix it with the yellow powder, I discovered I had no milk. I used sour cream instead and it turned out fine. As fine as store-brand Kraft Dinner can be, anyway.

I can also attest to sour cream's usefulness in this situation.
