How is it that Melvins were more popular than this band?

Karp is the perfect cooking music.

I am apparently a pussy, according to the diminuitive female free cigarette peddler that frequents the bar I normally attend, because I think Suplex is above and beyond Karp's best record. I can live with that.

Barbo, I sorta agree with you, though it's a close vote. Both those records are fucking amazing. I just think the clunkers on "Suplex" are a little clunkier than the clunkers on "Self-Titled".

why this is even up for debate is beyond me.

Such a righteous and heavy band...words escape me when trying to describe how I feel about this group.

Keep Your Hands Off My Cake, the second song on their split w/ Rye Coalition, is just about as perfect as a song gets. It goes on seemingly forever and that still doesn't feel long enough.

If the Melvins never put out a shit record, they could've been KARP.

i think it's just because Karp wasn't around for that long, I hear karp in the melvins and vice versa. Forget the Minions is one of my all time favorite songs.

It wasn't Jared, it was Chris, the guitar player, and as far as I know, that rumor is entirely true.
