the track called "song 9" is ghostcloud. there's a few seconds of dead air before the guitar comes in, just let it play. i'm uploading a few others to share.

A very similar thing happened to me back in 2003.
I had bumped into an old friend one Saturday night after not seeing him for a few years and we had made plans to hang out that week.
He killed himself the next day.
Unfortunately, I didn't even find out until after the funeral was over.

25thanks to everyone for their kind words,
it does help to see him remembered.
i spent alot of time with my friend will talking about noah, his tender personality, his odd sense of humor, and his genius song writing. my favorite song writer of all time, and im not just saying it because hes gone now. i used to tell him so.
there is obviously alot more i could say, but at that time it would become too personal.
aaron and i will be recording the final ghostcloud record sometime soon. it will be about, for, and in memory of noah simring. after that we will work on getting the rest of the albums pressed.
ill talk to aaron about setting up some sort of download page where more songs will be available.

27I only knew Noah from his posts here, but I'm saddened to hear this awful news. My sincere condolences go out to any and all friends and family here dealing with this.
Just before I read the post on his death, I was skimming the thread someone bumped on Knights of the New Crusade, which was interesting because I was just listening to their new CD as I pulled it up (they're not meantioned in the thread title). After reading several posts ranking out on the band while I was thinking, "You know, this album rocks and I think it's pretty funny," I see Noah's post that says, "I like this band." Kinda spooky, but in a good way ...
Via Con Dios. I hope you find some happiness on the other side.
