24I have this record. I want to like it, but it gives me a headache in a way that loud, heavy rock usually does not. Tell me why I should like the way the vocals are all effected and thin sounding. I love the name of the band, and the basic idea of it (bass and drums turned up to 11 with actual hooks), but I am so far unimpressed with it. Fire away on why I am a puss or a neophyte.
