Of course there's something inherently criminal in the American nature. Look at the politicians.

Drug use isn't the problem

No, the kids in foster care or driving grandma crazy at home is the problem.

Once again, that's not inherent in the use, that's the price. If drugs were legalized, the price would drop since more people would be able to grow and distribute it.

Not to mention, organized crime would plummet.

How about this

Legalize all drugs, because in a free society you unfortunately have to have the freedom to fuck up your own life. Or enhance it, whatever

In certain individual cases where a person becomes violent, dangerous to others under the influence of a particular drug, they then have a notation entered on the datastrip on their national ID card that this individual can no longer partake of this particular substance or substance grouping.

Under this system crystal meth will probably be made illegal once again because of too many incident reports.

No you don't. Intelligent, sensitive people who are smarter than you and who know better are telling you what to do, what to drive, put a sign in yr bar telling pregnant women not to drink and smoke, and hey, don't eat those fries. And then they encourage people to sue the fast food restaurants. Just vote for Obama, and we'll get many more Judge Garritt Howardz on the bench.

Nearly Bear stated-

Wrong. Small group?
A major part of the Milwaukee jail is this group. You can find a housing unit in the jail w/ 30-50 people that fit this description. EASY! Milwaukee is turning in to Detroit or something. It can't be much better where you are.

Many folks on this board pat themselves on the back for quitting drinking - BFD, that is nothing compared to the stuff these folks are hooked on.

Pour money on the problem like we've been doing for 40 years, legalize it, I don't care. Tax the hell out of it, it still won't pay for the horrendous medical costs down the road. That's my point.

No one is saying pour money on the problem in the same way we've been doing it for the past 80 years. Divert the utterly wasted money that's going towards "fighting" "the war on drugs" into a better, and more responsible direction, like taking that same money once it's legalized, and using that for rehabilitation programs, and clinics.

Do you really think the course we've been on is helping anyone but the rich and powerful stay rich and powerful? Really, forget that question, how about answering if you think it's right that people get fined or go to jail for weed? Or why can't a grown man make up his own damn mind about snorting white powder without having to face the very real consequence of jail time? Who are we protecting?
