There is nothing that can be said. I wish he had not done this. I hope his friends and family can find comfort in each other, and that time will dull the pain to the extent it can be.
"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

i'm very sorry to hear this.
i remember Noah mostly from his posts regarding analog recording/4 tracks/vinyl records etc. one particular thread about recording on portastudios made me laugh because i went through the exact same problems as he was having. we probably would have had a lot in common had we actually met. i also enjoyed the ghostcloud recordings i heard on purevolume; they were unique and haunting.
this is very sad news. RIP

That's very bad. Something in the temperament of artists makes them more prone to suicide, I think. I've been to two funerals of suicides- one a 24 year old musician, one a 25 year old writer. People can have extreme pain that they can keep partially hidden, but I think that artists will romanticize their pain as a coping mechanism ( because it 'fits' into their artistic dispositions ), and that undercurrent combined with one especially dark day can make a bad part of your brain take over.
