I have only ever looked up at THE scene from this film, and it is damned effective.

Like "Keeper" I knew the ending of "Final Prayer" before watching the whole movie, and it was just as compelling of a trip. Maybe moreso in fact because I had so much dread knowing what was coming. Fuck.

It might not be officially Lovecraftian but it hits all the right spots, with elements of The Shunned House, The Rats In The Walls and The Mound, among others.

It hits so much harder after watching Deacon and Gray's friendship develop over the course of the movie. Gray shouting "you said it wasn't real" is chilling and heartbreaking. Love this movie.
