"In the Heat of the Morning" is a great song.

There's a starman waiting in the sky, he'd like to come and meet us but he thinks he'd blow our minds.

I can't get enough of Bowie these days. Years ago I preferred his earlier albums, "Ziggy" and "aladdin Sane". Now, after over playing "Low" and "Heroes" in recent years, I'm hooked on the album "Scary Monsters."

That's about how i felt about Bowie this time last year. So much so in fact that i felt compelled to put together a 'tribute band' (BLOWIE) for a few of shows. We stuck to material no ealier than Man Who Sold the World and no later than Scary Monsters. 6 piece band. Played out 3 times. It ruled.

I don't get Bowie. I really like some Bowie songs, but overall I think he's crap. I like Mark Prindle's take on Bowie:

Mark Prindle on his website wrote:Do this - take a shit and then stick your hand in the toilet and pick up the pooplog. Then try to jam it up your pisshole. There! Now you know how it feels to have as little talent as David Bowie, the least talented man in the world

I think he's a hack, but sometimes he's a very good hack.

"The Man Who Sold The World" is indeed a very good record.
