Turkish Hairlines is a legit Kurdish barber shop near my house where I have had my hair cut several times.
I always tell myself 'Turkish Hairlines give you so much more'. (they don't really)

There's a place called American Haircuts across from the Ashby BART station parking lot in Berkeley. It's always seemed funny juxtaposed with all the supposedly exotic items for sale at the flea market across the street.

As a band name, it's probably only suitable for mid 90's bands approved for corporate alternative radio.
