The drummer and the bass player--and the interplay between them--are worth a longer listen. Plus-45 guys and gals will understand how different they were from most other charting rock acts of the time. I know a very skilled drummer who swore he would go when he first heard the news.
Not Crap. Infinitely better live, however. Tedious after about 35 minutes, not unlike most rock bands. I'd be interested in hearing them paired with a larger chamber group or chamber orchestra playing more or less contemporary compositons.
Yes, I was just at Road America for the American LeMans race, which is also interesting, although the Speed Challenge races attached to the series were even better, as they use a real "grand prix" start from a dead stop. Now that requires some driving skills.
I find it interesting. And the technological battles are pretty
sophisticated. Of course, you can only get it on the Speed Channel, so that limits exposure in the U.S.
