Thanks cgarges and Gr8h8m, Very useful info! I would definitely have a problem with using an audio CD as a master. I would be much happier to have the engineer convert from 24bit than doing it myself. Then I can be sure that the mastered CD will sound as good as, if not better than, the original mix...
