Saw them play tonight - very very not crap. The singer did indeed play pretty much everything on the record, and the guy who engineered it is now the guitar player in the band.

Good music by good people.

Not crap but with an entire Costco industrial-sized case of waffles due to the fact that their second album, the good one, was written collaboratively, and the new one, the not so good one, was a Beatles style "I'll sing my songs, you sing yours" thing.

They may be far along on the road to future ...

Haven't heard them yet but I have to wonder if it bothers them that the Arcade Fire got so big...

To me BJM sounds like the kind of classic rock parody you could make up as you go along - Oasis-level ripoff tunes, with little regard for details like pitch or ...

Judicial nominees are suposed to be the president's turf anyway, and while voting down nominees is always an option, I think that refusing to vote on the nominee is kind of a stretch of "advice and consent."

You could just as easily argue that the Republican majority has failed in its capacity ...

The crapness of both bands doesn't make this film crap - in fact just like the Metallica documentary, the crapness of the subjects' music just amplifies the not-crapness of the movie.
