You can set them up in Audio MIDI Setup (Mac HD/Applications/Utilities) although I don't know if it'll work in PT M-Powered... I don't think it'll show up as an M-Audio device...
However, i've recently moved over to using some fancy fuckers with yellow bits on them. None of this screwing and unscrewing to move it, instead you get a bit you press and it just moves. I can't believe it's taken the industry 60 years to get there...

The Samson CO3 is exactly what i'm talking about vis a vis cheap OHs.
Plus, it's got switchable pickup patterns for a nice bit of natural reverb from the room if you can't add it later.
