Earthquaker Sunn O))) Life Pedal is great. The Rat part sounds great, the boost sounds great (and seems to keep low end well, better than other boosts I've tried for bass), and the octave is cool to add in when needed. Basically can now use this on my board with just a tuner and I'm good to go.

Anyone have any thoughts on how you'd go about refretting an aluminum necked guitar? Is it a wood fretboard? If so I dont know how it'd be any different than refretting a standard neck. An aluminum fretboards I dont know how (or if) thye are installed. I kinda figured the frets would be all the sam...

That TB2000 bass body is GORGEOUS. Agreed on the smaller earlier body being the best.

A buddy borrowed mine for a minute to see if he wanted to go down that route. He said playing it felt like trying to hold a street lamp and play bass, but I think that neck profile just feels perfect to me now.

I use this and wrote about it here . Why do you need it to be passive? You should have an outlet to plug your amp into, the little power supply for the amp DI isn’t much trouble. Oh I'd just prefer it to be passive since it's for live use and it's one less thing to have to plug in, or end up forget...
