Just finished this one tonight. Basketcase purchase from Reverb. Missing all the tubes. PT was in pieces, like somebody was attempting to reconnect the wires inside it. Reverb transformer had some charring. One speaker cone completely missing. Every screw was rusty ...

Looks shit hot. Nice choice on the name.

"Mike Input" is a pretty great stage name.

I've got the 2x12 version of that cab as my main gigging cab and it hits the sweet spot between a 2x10 and something like a 4x10+1x15 stack. Enough low end that I don't miss hauling around a 15, but "punchy" enough that I don't miss the 10s.

That's the OG one that Dr. Balls pedal is based on.

The newer wood one looks like this. I think the only commonality they share is the name.

Its possible that you just never turned your actual Freedom amp up enough to get it to distort because the volume level was more than you wanted. I'm also playing into a whole other amp/speakers that's gonna color the signal in some way.
