New Bismarck Tour documentary is out! This one also features Straphanger and Future Living.

Just finished up the recording documentary of the most recent album by The Bismarck.

I didn't know that New Order was just the remaining members of Joy Division (plus another member) until I was 30.

I decided that this was the year that I was going to read books about the Vietnam War so I started with The Centurions by Jean Larteguy. It's about French paratroopers getting captured right after the battle of Dien Bien Phu. About halfway through and they have already been released. 250 pages to go ...

A youtube comment on my film pointed me in the direction of this. Hits on several of the same themes as mine. The band seems a bit twee for my tastes, but the heart is there, for sure.

I will be working on some outtakes later in the year and a possible physical release (?) In the meantime, just sitting down for a few podcast interviews about it. Just did one with Conan last week.
