The outs are balanced trs on them but only 4 channels of my 1608 is also balanced. would i have problems connecting a preamp like these to it or would i have 4 c...

surely tho if you are putting a mic preamp into a input of say a mixer, you are canceling out the mic preamp in the first place because its still going into the mixer preamp it was going to in the first place. i can see the benefit of level but not the "tone" or "sparkle" factor....

i own a svt4pro and a 810e and the sansamp does a very convincing job of recreating the same/similar tone that i get from my peg! ive herd it with jazz basses and musicmans tho and it doesnt really seem to help that much, but its great on my p basses!
