Clarke's, right around the corner from the Bottom Lounge, is diner-y and good. There are a million other places nearby if you have time to take a walk.

Mi Tierra, at 1039 W. Belmont, is good Mexican, more of a sit-down restaurant than a taqeria but great food.

Pompei, at 2955 N. Sheffield (on the other side of the El tracks from the Bottom Lounge), is counter-service Italian and very tasty.

Hey all,

If you're gonna be at Circle A at 8 PM on Saturday, afterward head over to Riverwest Commons for IfIHadAHiFi, Echo-Static (Madison non-mopey shoegazers along the lines of Swervedriver--they're loud and have tons of effects pedals and are kickass), and Jack the Tripper (a Manitowoc PUNK RAWK band). The cover's $3, but i just let STNNNG And Signal to Trust know that they're welcome for free into our show (good touring band karma is always a plus, no?), and since we'll be running the door, if you let us know you were at the Circle A show i'm sure we can knock the door charge for our show down to $2 for ya. That's like 4 noise-rock bands and one punk band in one night! Can you deal?!?

Oh yeah, our show's likely starting at 10 and Jack the Tripper are playing first. So there.
