22to quote the mighty Ross Nisbett of Loughborough:
Me "you going to see whitehouse?"
Ross: "If I wanted to be called a cunt by a man in a suit I'd go back to working for the Job Centre"

23I'm thinking strongly about traveling to either Chicago or Austin to see them, if I'm able.

24Hey! It looks like my girlfriend, one of my bandmates, and I are going to be at the Chicago Whitehouse show. The night before that we will be seeing Mogwai in Nashville. I am excited about this weekend in March.
Is anyone else from the board going to be at this Whitehouse show?

26One of my favourite bands. Were totally irresistable to me when I first heard them (Live Action 22 recording about 11/12 years ago), and still are ... The first album I heard was 'Thanks Your Lucky Stars', the first Albini produced. One of their best and the one I always recommend to beginners.
I have to say - I prefer the old vocal style though. The new vocal style from the last few albums of seemingly fitting in as many words as possible worked perfectly when it was first used on 'A Cunt Like You' (from 'Mummy & Daddy' & Cruise') especially, but WB really just sounds like a nagging woman sometimes. At least with the old style you could sing-a-long! MY COCKS ON FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

27I just lost my Whitehouse cherry. I just listened to "Asceticists".
I think this is the first time I've ever been really, honestly freaked out by music. I wanted to turn it off, not because of the noise, but because I just felt disturbed by it. And I've listened to plenty of supposedly "scary" music.
Well done, Whitehouse - mission accomplished.
Now I want to see them in Boston on Monday night. Should I bring earplugs?

28Could anyone hook me up with some Whitehouse recordings? Ebay prices and the like are just way too damn expensive.

30I think the funniest lyrics are on the Whitstained Covers cassette that
Gillhams never getting back.
I'm coming round your house
So make a cup of tea
I'll bring my Whitehouse records
And you won't like it.
Classic.
Not crap.
