Going to shows is overrated.

Eksvplot wrote:not crap, entirely -- but definitely most of the time. i have an open mind, but video games, in general, are such a drain. i wish there was a video game equivalent of a cassavetes film, or a hemingway book, or something that might impell a person to think, or even... feel. most modern games seem to have been designed by people largely informed by crap culture. when i play these games i just feel like i'm navigating a commercial.
then again, the last system i bought was super nintendo. and i suppose i have some sorta fear of buying a new system and actually, really liking it, i'm not too cool for school, i just think i'm already pushing my luck with my current interests. i'm absent minded and easily distracted. it seems putting video games on top of everything would be trouble.
