I meant Dire Straits - i always get them two mixed up.

Okay bands - still quite angular punk though.

Obi Got Ludo
Dartz! (from the boro)
Ever since the lake caught fire

and

The Unit Ama
Mushi Mushi (kind of a weird drum n bass band)

Ah, you like Dartz! Lovely lads. Bit pop for me, but they bring it live.

Aye, that's what i mean too pop. Like a light Q and not U (yes imagine that). Amazing live like.

Lansing on the whole has been decent, if a little uneven.

The good:
Touch & Go Records
Meatmen
Blight (I think they were at least partially from here)
Fun Ender
Chinese Millionares
Stevie Wonder at one point
Violent Apathy- sort of.

The Bad:
Verve Pipe
Tons of shitty jam bands

The Ugly:
The Crucifucks

Oh! And Vinnie Campbell, who was guitarist with Whitesnake and Dio

I'm afraid my county spawned Mr Coverdale.

Aye, i think we are to blame for the whole hard rock thing. Led Zep get a free pass like, i still love them, no matter what anyone says.

To be fair though, the americans gave us - Van Halen, Motley Crue, etc. So i think we are even on that count.
