Minneapolis/St. Paul is incredible right now. Lots of great clubs (7th St. Entry/Triple Rock Social Club/Turf Club, among others), a few good underground places for the punk/noise crowd, a nationally-known hip-hop community, and dozens of great bands.

A true testament to how good it's been: There have been a number of nights where I've played the same night as another "competing" show (y'know, where a band who might draw the same crowd is playing across town), and way more often than not, both shows have drawn really well. Not only are there great clubs and bands, but people are going out to see them frequently.

I love it here.

West Cester is getting bare-able. Two or three all-age places to play. Good Jazz and touring bands. Wednesday is Captured By Robots! at the local bar. Can't wait.
