the first night goes on sale on July 8. I think the Anti- records website'll update the stuff as it happens.
also, it's not up @ Auditorium Theatre just yet, but they have a number on their site.

7I'm so there if I can figure out a way to come up with the $75 per ticket plus ticketmaster fees.
Anyone have any idea how I can easily get around the ticketmaster two ticket limit and get three seats all next to each other?

9Mr. Kerble,
I went to this fine show. It was truly incredible. The sound was great, and Tom Waits was on fucking point. I had waited a very very long time to see him play and it exceeded all hopes and expectations. I thought it was one of the best performances I've ever seen. His son played drums, I believe he's around 18 or maybe younger. Made me feel good

10Hmm. I saw him in Louisville Monday night. It was kind of fun, and neat to finally see him live, but I probably wouldn't do it again.
His voice sounded as strong as ever, and there were a few really nice moments (got cold chills during "Shore Leave"), but overall I felt like I should have gotten more for my $55 and road trip. The set veered too much into cheesy "bar band that wants badly to play the blues" territory a few times, complete with long-winded versions of some songs where the extensions added nothing to the song. I don't know, maybe it's just that I'm becoming a grumpy old man. (Actually, I think it's the fact that he's past his prime and I've seen plenty of underground acts that "bring it" for much less money.)
