3I must say I'm intrigued to see whether it does in fact hold my attention. I've never bothered with national football before, but after getting caught up in the WC I will be watching some matches when they come. It might be a relief to find out that they bore me to fuck, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Yes. But accurately. If I wanted to watch a cartel of PLCs reorder themselves in a list I'd buy the Financial Times. The Premiership has nothing to do with actual sport. That would threaten profits.

A-ha, but they aren't a bunch of marxists are they, they're a bunch of football teams.

7I'd like to see the G-14 group break away and form their own European super league. The G-14 is basically the 14 ( now 18 ) biggest clubs from the top euro leagues. As someone who loves champions league football, it'd be nice to see the best of the best playing in one league for one trophy for an entire season. That said, it'll never happen..

8That's not a bad idea, but I think the Champions League is enough. I'm sick of those teams by the time it's over.
The thing I hate the most about the English Premiership is how few English players there are. It's all Dutchmen and Brazilians and Krauts. And the other leagues have almost no English players because they want to win and the English aren't quality soccer players. They're quality fans and have quality wallets, but when it comes to playing, they suck.
Oh well, go Ajax!
