y'know, i pretty much concur with your problems re: marcus. his attempt to claim punk rock as an aftershock of debord, 68, or marxism, is as vague and tepid as people like malcom maclaren's appropriation of situationist graphics. also, i've never really bought into his readings of adorno and/or benjamin, either.

anybody seen/read nest of ninnies guy seth sanders' interview with greil? i'm pretty desperate to track it down.
