Slint Question

Sorry, I know, we need more Slint threads like we need more cancer, but Ive always wondered about this.

Some of my friends (and others) have been passing around an mp3 of a song called "Heavy Vegetable" thats suppose to be by Slint. One friend said it was suppose to be on some 7-inch, or it was on one? Im not sure. Can anyone verify if this is a real Slint song? If so, whats it from?

Many Thanks,

Chet

I've heard this song in question as it was on the old illegalized Napster back in 01 or something. I seriously doubt it is really Slint. The drumming just wasn't Britt enough. I have my doubts. Someone tagged a Heavy Vegetable (the band) song as a Slint song and it got passed around like Syph.

Was just having a little mosey on the internet as christmas TV makes my head hurt, and stumbled upon this, which is quite possibly one of the funniest things i have read on the internet, um, all day.

I had a feeling it was Heavy Vegetable, and it was just mislabelled. Thanks dudes.

You know, there was a slint site on the web with guitar tabs to most of the songs, and steves review of spiderland, but its seemed to have vanished. I remember someone on here was asking about slint guitar tabs. I cant find the site now, but I know Im not making this up, because I know how to play "Washer" on guitar.

Anyone know where this is?
