sound proofing room for practice

what do you mean by "sound proof"? do you mean you don't want noise to escape the room you're going to practice in? then the question is, where are you trying to stop the noise from going? upstairs? neighbors immediately on the other side of the wall? neighbors in the next building over? depending on which of these (or whatever other) scenarios you're talking about, there may or may not be a relatively cheap and easy answer. if it's neighbors in the next building over, and you're in a brick building, it may be very possible. if you're talking about people right on the other side of the wall, or on the floor above or the floor below, the answer may very well be "forget it".
