The boring, ongoing saga of my cheap j-bass...
I got a super-cheap deal on a pair of SD SJB-3s, and figured I migh as well switch the pots at the same time.
The DC resistance is neck 13.9k, bridge 14.61k.
Should I use 250k or 500k pots?
I have little-to-no idea.
Which pots for SD quarter pounders in a J-bass?

big pickup specialists basically.
we usually recomend 250k pots for this, the 500k pots will open the top end up some more on the j bass but these pickups were intended to be used with 250k. personally i recomend sticking with the 250k pots but everyones tone is subjective.
hope your quest for theee j bass tone is found with your seymours!
