Dustcovers for tape machines

2
funny, just last night i was on the JRF site and noticed these:

http://jrfmagnetics.com/JRF_cookies_covers.html

although, i just sent that link to my girlfriend (who considers herself crafty) saying "hey, look at this - you should make me one of these when you're bored" and her response was she thought it could be done for like way less.

so if you have a crafty girlfriend, maybe go that route. or if you want a cover for your MTR90, maybe my girlfriend would make you one using my machine as a template.

she sent me this link:

i have no idea where she gets this shit.

Those look nice. I'll add them to the list of "things we can spend alot of money on or never get around to making ourselves," along with stackable goboes, those headphone hangers that attach to mic stands, diffusors, etc.

Do let me know if you make one. I told my partner about this plan of mine, but he doesn't "want to deal with taking the thing off and finding a place to put it." But if one just showed up in the mail one day...

The MTR90 has an optional plexi cover that sits on top of the machine, but I've never seen one for sale.

Thanks!
