Yeah I know, but I'm having a slow day here... plus people keep sending me emails about Christmas Parties, pumping Christmas music at me in shopping centres.... IT'S NOT MY FAULT

I'm an atheist so Xmas is just another day for me.

Thus, I just watch Once Upon a Time in the West same as every other day of my life.

'The Apartment' always seems to get aired. I love that film.

Also, since my dad got it on DVD, he and I have made the 1950s Scrooge with Alistair Sim a staple. It's great.

The Apartment would make a good christmas film, hadn't thought of that. Die Hard definitely gets a (fully non ironic) vote from me, other obvious choices: Diner, the original Star Wars films, Casablanca, etc...

I'm an atheist...but Christmas is still "da bomb". I don't need no baby Jesus to have a happy holiday.

That being said, three people have cited Home Alone and/or Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. I also love these movies. It was the first movie I ever insisted on seeing in theaters (my father was happy to oblige). Salut, EA!! I must watch at least one of them around the holidays every year. This horrifies my girlfriend.

If it's up to her, I think we'll be watching A Very Special Jean-Luc Godard Christmas this year.


EDIT: Now that I think about it, Christmas is usually the day I get in a ridiculous fight with my family. It didn't happen last year, but I think I'll be celebrating this year with my girlfriend in Albuquerque anyway before we make the road trip/move out to Chicago.
