Band s Upcoming Shows

Our Elbo room show went way better than I thought it would.
It's not a bad place to play at all really, sound guy was real cool. We got paid.
Decent amount of people there, a few people really liked us a lot.
I would like to send people the way of a great band we met tonight called The King Hen from Portland, real nice guys and a fine rock band.

The third band on the bill, whatever they were called can eat a bag of dicks with their bullshit. Orion Pax, that's what they are called. Fuck that band, for real. DOUCHEBAGS.
The last band Eli Story were nice guys as well. Their music? Uh....like I said they are nice guys.
I am pretty drunk.
Goodnight.

I do not have a fancy flyer or poster for this show, but it's about one and a half weeks away:

Bear Claw
IfIHadAHiFi
Replicator

Sunday, Sept. 2nd (which is the Sunday before Labor Day, which is basically an extra Saturday)

@ the Empty Bottle
9 PM, $8 apparently.

And for Milwaukeeans, the four-day HiFi/Replicator leg of the Replitour will conclude on Labor Day at Points East Pub in Milwaukee, along with The Kind of Jazz Music That Kills and China Pig. 9 PM, probably less than $8.

Oh! There's a flyer for that one:

Noise, noise, noise. Seeya there.

Here's our upcoming show:

Sat. Aug. 25 - 9PM - 21+
THE LIFE AND TIMES (ex Shiner)
Allen Epley, a king of Midwestern indie rock (he headed the long-extinct Shiner with vocal/guitar magic), repositions himself on the throne with a new band. The journey seems a mournful nocturne, reminiscent of one who’s slept half his life away, with lyrics that sigh breathlessly. There are ooh’s and aah’s sung in silent wonder as if they are ghosts of that lost day. Instruments work together to build a rock monument engraved with choruses one catches quicker than a cold. In all their gloomy wonder, barely-there vocals, keys, and violin awaken with razorblade guitars backed by measured and balanced drumming. It all erupts—swelling, cascading, and finally coming to rest in one hushed crash of the cymbal.
SOFT TARGETS (former mbrs of Seam / RNCD)
Soft Targets form in summer 2004 after the breakup of Reagan National Crash Diet with Chris Auman, guitar/vocals and Carol Bales, bass. Soft Targets is a power duo. Winter 2004 Perry Finch (Vambo Marble Eye) joins on drums. Soft Targets is a power trio. Carol departs. Soft Targets is a power duo. Tina Finch joins on bass. Soft Targets is a power trio. Reg Shrader (Seam, Circus Lupus, The Paperbacks) joins on guitar. Soft Targets is a power quartet. Tina gets pregnant and departs. Tim Davison (Fairmount Girls, The Clerics) joins on bass. Perry leaves on drums. Dave Potter (Lustre Kings) joins on drums. And then, and then, AND THEN Tim Davison leaves to concentrate on his other band The Clerics. Dan Kiss joins on bass. Soft Targets remain a power quartet.

An oddly named and poorly dressed band consisting of fairly nice fellas, each of which not without some talent and experience with the rock music

kerble is right.
