I was always under the impression that Mark felt that way about that song. Can't say I blame him - then again, isn't that kind of the point of a really good parody?

Weird Al had his points but I can't respect the man
I just don't see any god damn talent coming from mocking all this music and taking the song and just doing satire.

Half his satires don't even make sense
he just changes it to a song about a ham sandwich or some shit.

i agree because when i was lot younger he did seem a lot better... but over the years im just not into it at all... so i concure

You people out of your freakin' minds. This country was built on songs about ham sandwiches. Weird Al rules.

I listened to him quite a lot when I was a kid. I haven't bought an album of his in a very long time but if he were ever to pass through I would go to the show. Weird Al is not crap in more ways than one.

Weird Al is ok in my book. I have the sirius radio, and on the occasion he pops up on the boring comedy channel. I had the pleasure of hearing some reworking he did of that R Kelly tune, in the closet or what have you, and yes, it revolved around some food. It was the funny.

Not crap, I suppose.

Oh and he does a Brian Wilson type of song (in the approximate style of Smile) called pancreas.

I sort of feel shame for posting this. premier rock forum and all.
