David R. Wrone, author of The Zapruder Film: Reframing JFK's Assassination makes a compelling case for (at least) two gunmen in Dallas on November 22nd. Meanwhile, most of the television specials I've seen this week stand by the "lone gunman" theory.
I've read enough of the literature (Crossfire, Jim Marrs; Case Closed, Gerald Posner, etc.) to know the evidence can be interpreted a myriad of ways, but remain undecided as to the central question "Did Oswald act alone?"
I'm curious if anyone has reached what they believe is a definitive conclusion about the Kennedy assassination. What was the evidence that swayed you?

2The definitive story comes from the Misfits tune: "Bullet."
But I digress. Please continue with the squirrel circuit semantic debate.

3i've been watching the history channel, PBS, and the ABC special all week and pretty much all of them stood by the lone gunman theory.
basically they just used fancy computer programs and graphics to try and prove their theories. talking about how the "magic bullet" wasn't magic because it actually traveled in a perfect straight line (although they stopped their computer simulation when the bullet hit Connelly's wrist, neglected the fact that it still had to somehow implant itself in his leg).
No program reported about the bullet that deflected and hit an innocent bystander who was stationed by the underpass.
No program mentioned L. Fletcher Prouty, the character depicted by Donald Sutherland in the Oliver Stone movie. Despite the fact that the movie leaves out some pretty damaging evidence AGAINST the idea of a conspiracy, I saw a documentary that interviewed Prouty and he had some amazing things to say about the events which surrounded the assassination.
I'm not really sure what I believe, hell I wasn't even born until 20 years after the fact. I just think there are some fascinating theories and we would all be remised to disregard them all and just believe what we're told by the big media outlets (who are all connected to defense contractors anyway, and thus the military intelligence which purportedly was one of the key players in the hit on kennedy).
post script- the spellcheck offered to change "PBS" to "pubes" for me.

4It goes like this.
OJ Simpson did it.
Ron and Nicole were going to leek the info to the press, so Kurt Cobain killed them.
A conspiracy of scientoligists had their main hit man Chick Corea kill Kurt.
The weird part is that Chick Corea is really King Diamond who is head of the Mossad, the Isreali secret service.
David koresh was going to go public with this whole thing and you know what happened to him.
David Blaine is really a decoy and is a hollogram designed by the cubans and former Nazi scientists to decieve us all of the truth.
I am on to them.
I can prove this on an etch a sketch.

5One of the refreshing things about the Wrone book is that it limits the scope of the discussion to the Zapruder film and the evidence that relates directly to it (i.e. other photographs from Dealy Plaza, related witnesses, autopsy reports, etc.). The single question he tries to answer is "Does the Zapruder film and its related evidence support the theory of more than one gunman?" His answer is yes.
I'm inclined to agree, though its unlikely we'll ever know for sure. The waters have been quite muddied.

6i've also heard varying accounts that the zapruder film was doctored. some say yes, there are frames missing, some say definitely not.

7Actually I thought "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" program on the History Channel was pretty interesting to watch. It puts forth several different theories as to what different parties would want him dead, and several ways as to how they might have pulled it off. Pretty much every option EXCEPT Oswald.

I think this is a holdover from when Time magazine originally reprinted the film and switched the order of a few crucial frames. Otherwise, they've been reprinted in the right order dozens of times.
