Graham, I got this at Vintage Vinyl for only $15.00. I was looking at other stuff, and some records, especially 1st editions, do command premium prices there (for instance, I saw an Alice Cooper "Easy Action" 1st pressing for $75.00), but if you look around, and you don't new that uber rare 1st pressing but can settle for a later pressing, you can find stuff that is more reasonably priced.

All right already I will give Vintage Vinyl another chance. Are you doing PR and marketing for them now? Sheesh.

No, I just don't think a true record/music collector should close off any options to empty their wallet of cash.

I got this on vinyl yesterday at the record fair for $20. It's in pretty excellent condition and have the booklet.

I also got some other stuff, but this was the Eureka moment.

My pal Mark had his Blackberry with him, and was pricing out the records he was considering on Ebay and such before purchasing (to see if he was getting a good deal, etc.) and it amused me. He's such a vinyl nut to begin with.

Even more amusing were the people who brought their own turntables to listen to their purchases.

The best part was that there were other dealers with ones in worse condition, so I was able to talk this copy down from $30. The only thing that make sit non-mint is that the previous owner wrote his name on it, but since I'm not really picky about stuff like that it was OK.

I guess I had this same addiction in my younger, more carefree days. Which would explain why I have a half wall of records at home.

Graham, perhaps you could point out a few things I should pick up. Look at the "What are you listening to" thread, see what I've posted, and give me some recommendations.
