just saw this the other night, and it was quite funny. it had all the elements for disaster but the jokes were executed really well I thought. the second half got a little slow, but the poke at Brian Wilson, Elvis, and Bob Dylan were hilarious.
not crap.
I'd go see it again.

Because he's a rip-off of Jerry Lee Lewis, not Elvis. :)

5Looks horrendous. I will not be seeing this.

6Terrible.
Just because Apatow writes a movie does not mean it should be made.
I found it drawn out and just not that funny. The jokes rehashed that kind of "dirty-things-are-edgy-never-gratuitous" humor that plagues so many American comedies these days.

10Sub-shit. Sub-Sandler. Unrated cut is slightly better but with that cast, this should have been a masterpiece. Seriously, was this written over a weekend?
Waffles: The Lil' Nutsack thing and the some of the extended Brian Wilson stuff were the only audible laughs it got out of me. Good thing I didn't see this in the theater because I would have been out of the door by the time the midget protest song started.
