Slaughterhouse Five
Mother Night
Cat's Cradle
Galapagos
Sirens Of Titan
Slapstick
Pretty much in that order, more or less. I've read all his books I think, except for God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian and I must say I haven't been too disappointed with anything of his I've ever read.
I'd agree that Player Piano is one of his "lesser good" books, but that's just because it's been the flimsiest as far as standing up to the passage of time. Remember it was written in like the late '50s or early '60s. Much of his predictions have pretty much come to pass, the robots replacing physical laborers in factories and all. Only he got the specifics of the technologies a little wrong (considering the digital revolution and all). However, the dystopian aspects of the world he described haven't really manifested so much. Our lifestyles have just adapted to new ways of earning a living. Instead of a society of bureaucratic drones lorded over by an elite class of engineers, America had converted into a service economy with most physical production of durable goods having been exported to Asia...
Anyway, my least favorite of his books has been Timequake, though that novel's warm and personal tone made it difficult for me to dislike it. Reading that one was sort of like being a kid again and having my grandfather tell me a story.
But I'd say that those 6 are definitely his best, IMO.
