I imagine his copies would be pretty good. He knows his shit when it comes to Mosrites. He gave me a lot of advice when I was getting mine sorted.

25There's a silverburst Mosrite at Guitarworks that taunts me.
"Sell some other stuff, and buy me!" it says.
It also creeps me out because I have NEVER seen a silverburst Mosrite. Ever.
But I think it looks totally bad ass.

*if you haven't heard funhouse on vinyl you have not heard this awesome bass sound. i'm sorry but that's one of those albums that kills the digital v. analog "argument."

27I may have told this story here before, but heregoes:
A friend of mine was in the Ramones for 3 weeks before they chose CJ over him b/c CJ could sing. He was asking Johnny what happened to the Rocket From Russia Mosrite and why he never uses it anymore. Johnny claimed that it just didnt sound the same. After exhausting all possibilities he decided the guitar was sweat logged or something and gave up on it.
Well, Johnny sold that guitar to my friend that day and everytime I saw my friend after I made him promise to come to me first if he ever decides to relieve himself of it. He did and he didn't ring me. He sold it for $1000 and put it towards a VHT pitbull. When I asked him why he didn't ring me he told me that I wouldn't have liked it anyway because it didn't sound right.
He was very very wrong.
