William Bennett gave a rare Q&A audience the next day. It was fascinating to see the character behind all those horrible songs. His care and attention to every aspect of his craft was inspiring; he gave thoughtful insights into how he approached his creative endeavours and how we could apply them our own art. I thought how lonely it must be, being the only good artist in an entire genre of your own creation. Maybe that's why he stopped. I spotted him later in the pub sipping white wine, wearing "child abuser" nike shoes.
Poor old Besty, he was really floored by the news. Over the years, he morphed from a vulnerable 14yo runaway into exactly the sort of fat, fucked up creep he should be protected from. That's why it had to end!

62Yeah, it's the end of an era, great music and art.
Shameless plug here, but for those in the north - swing by to the Edinburgh show this Saturday, should be a great day.

1) Be found hoarding 80 animals in your home.
2) Drive through a storefront.
I'm 6/80ths the way to #1.
