Hi!
I don´t write too much but I read a lot your comments, in the past I decided for a pair of KRK monitors which are great for a home studio, now I am planning on goin for an audio technica 4033 and I am looking for a mid range preamp, I have see good reviews on the STUDIO PROJECTS VTB1, And it is priced ridiculous!!
What mic preamps in a medium budget, let´s say about 500 $ are you using?
What about the SPL GOLDMIKE 9844?? looks fine for the price...
By the way I use a presonus firewire as an audio interface
Thnkas for your comments!!!

I suppose that this depends on how drunk the bass player is.

4Looks good. How do you think the RNP would measure up to standard Mackie-board preamps, or Presonus bluetube, or lower priced Focusrite?

6I don't know the focusrite or presonus stuff. well, I used the presonus 8mic pres once and it was ok.
anyhow, the RNP is definitely better than the mackie pres.
