I would have sex with that guitar.

I would also enjoy it.

it's the reflective surface, innit?

jimmyjames, that is one hell of a good looking guitar. salut.

Good Lord.

I'm not even a Travis Bean devotee and that is one of the most beauteous guitars I think I have ever seen.

$2,300 US? That comes down to €1,459.59. An outstanding value when you think about what Travis Beans are going for these days.

If one could order one of these babies just like that, well... I'll keep dreaming for now.

I gotta ask a few questions:

1) How is the neck? EGC's have a thin fast neck - is your egc playing much different then a JM?

2) Is this essentially a copy? I see the tunomatic-like bridge...

3) How insane would this EGCJM be as a bari? Really insane or not-so-insane?

4) Was there a reason to not chrome the pus covers? Just curious.

The neck on this one is a traditional size. It actually has fretboard and is hollow underneath.

As for being a copy...electronically yes. They are all jazzmaster parts. I used a Schaller roller bridge to help with binding over the bridge as this bridge doesnt float at all. The body is fairly close as you can see. It is however completely hollow and it made it sound very very lush for lack of a better word. Im not a Jazzmaster guy at all, but I liked the sound and the fellow who ordered it is in love with JMs and really liked this one.

Im sure it would work as bari just fine. Ive never done it though, but have yet to be dissapointed in one.

The covers are actually powder coated aluminum. The fellow who ordered it wanted them black.
