These are very NOT CRAP.

I agree although I am not a real fan of Budgie. I like these albums better than the first two which were mentioned more in this thread. On early records vocalist was a bit too much to just ignore, his voice was too grating. The song titles give wrong impression too - Hot as a Docker's Armpit! - come on, make me believe it lads. I sort of expected growl and got high pitched vocal instead. Guitar sound really is butch enough. Later on somehow it clicked on all levels. Guitar playing also became more interesting as they matured. Budgie is good. Budgie I like you.

I do sometimes hear bass baritone voice in my head for In the Grip of a Tyrefitter's Hand. I can't help myself.

I've never heard a single song by Rush.

Just listening to "Parents" off of Never Turn Your Back on a Friend. Such a wonderful song.

Live in '08 {!} (not complete unfortunately) Still bringin' the goods...

Whenever someone's going on and on about Rush, I turn them on to the decidedly non-retarded, non-Ayn Randy, goofy fun and tuneful Budgie.

Here's a great clip of Breadfan...
