I missed it but wondered if anyone saw it. Did not even know it was happening till I got a email from a friend in Florida asking if I had gone.
Apparently the Voice was not positive (but since the departure of Chuck Eddy I think they may be more into the Cyrus clan).
If you heard anything let me know. Are they going to do another gig? Should they just let their history live on and not sully it with live shows.

2The mrs and I went, it was great. Much like Big Black I never dreamed I would ever see them. They barely played twenty minutes and that included playing one song twice.
I didn't get the impression this was going to be a continuing reunion, just a one off, but who knows.
Hands down the most annoying crowd of no nothing douchenozzles ever had to deal and I've been to shows in Chicago!
Saw Mission of Burma the next night as well, a fun little trip.

4Not a big fan of TJ&TJ.
I much prefer Lydia Lunch's later stuff, especially the album 13.13 and her collaborations with Rowland Howard, Foetus, and Sonic Youth.

the only album i like is "honeymoon in red" which is collaboration with the birthday party. funny it was started as new band, they recorded 10 songs back in 82' then they lost tapes. in 87' lunch released those songs under her name and named her album "honeymoon in red". according to mick harvey foetus and that guy from sonic youth remixed those songs into shit. still like'em through.

10Lydia was looking a little worse for wear. I actually used to think she was kind of hot in that wayward JAP trash kid of manner. Always thought 'Fingered' was amazingly raw and erotic for a half-assed super 8 hunk of celluloid. Below is a GRAPHIC clip. Be forewarned.

I like TJ & tJ. Not as much as some of the other No Wave stuff, but I appreciate the venom.
The book that Moore and Coley have put together is really good. So is Master's 'No Wave.'
