I've never read the comic, so I can say i'm not biased. The trailer looked silly to me. The costumes on these guys- they kinda look like gay gladiators. And a movie about gay gladiators sounds kinda fun to me, so maybe i'll go.

The rumour is we'll see the glowing blue peanuts. I believe the only minor+ changes in costume are Night Owl and Veidt.

Well, I noticed that they did give him the atomic Speedo in the scene where he's blowing up Viet Cong. In his sudden reappearance in the cafeteria, it does look like there's a clear suggestion of junk amidst all the lightning and blue glowing.

He did wear that speedo. The US Government asked him to cover up when out on a mission. That's actually a frame from the comic, but I can't site a page and panel. Black speedo with a v shape.
