I meant that in response to the original post that says she's letting her father down by interning at a major label. Everyone does shitty internships, so it's not like she should be held to this high standard, especially because she's still young.

but yeah, it is nice to hear she's not fucked up and doing things like a normal person, I just don't see how it's exactly newsworthy.

Actually, I was mostly joking about the "letting her dad down" thing. But I'm sure there are dozens of college journalism students more qualified for (and more in need of) an internship at a major magazine (not a major record label, by the way) than the daughter of two famous rock stars. Good on Frances if she wants to get a real job, but it's not like she got a gig stocking shelves at Target like most sixteen year olds on summer vacation. I'd bet the rent she's at Rolling Stone because she's famous, not because she's the most qualified or deserving candidate.

Come on, man. It's a summer internship for Rolling Stone. It's not like her being famous got her a permanent position at a place that actually matters.
