Retreaters

Hey hey hey!

Right before COVID-19 kicked off last year, I started a new band that somehow made a couple EPs and did some "live" sets. That band is Retreaters!

Some people say we sound like "Rockin' Stereolab." Some people say "Oh, this guitar player likes Mission of Burma." All I know is that the three bands I listened to the most when working on these songs were Bailter Space, Lungfish, and U2.

EPs are on Bandcamp here.

We also played live in Jeff's basement, which you can see here -
Jazz Titan/Ruthie Cohen

Current -
Future Living / Daddy's Boy / Blank Banker / Solo

Fomer -
Hungry Man / No Trust / Retreaters

Well thank ya!

For this Bandcamp Friday, Retreaters decided to take the audio from our Thundersnow set and make it a pay-what-you-want download.

For folks that do opt to spend money on it, we're donating all of the money (and not just for today, but for as long as it's on Bandcamp) to Planned Parenthood. I'll also be matching all of today's donations.

Cold check it here.

This is a great addition to the catalog.
Leah and I are pretty much completely flipped on this combo.

Nice! Some nice pedals, too!

Definitely this band has a sound that could mature into something cool and an album I'd definitely want to buy/own. Not quite there yet from what I've heard on bandcamp yet, though.

But that song, "Driftless" is a good starting point for that sound imo.
